- Magnesium stearate/stearate/stearic acid: Can reduce immune function and increases intestinal inflammation.
- Titanium Dioxide: Can cause DNA damage and intestinal inflammation.
- Maltodextrin: Can cause intestinal inflammation
- Silicon Dioxide: Can cause cancer
- Gums: Guar gum/Carrageenan/Agar gum/Tara gum/Locus bean gum (carob gum)/Xanthan gum/gum Acacia. May cause cancer, intestinal inflammation, gas, bloating, decrease gastric emptying, and decrease healthy gut flora.
- Polysorbate 60 and 80: May cause cancer.
- Carboxymethyl cellulose: GI distress and allergic reactions.
- Corn starch: GMO corn
- Citric acid: GMO cor

- Polyethylene glycol (PEG’s): Derived from petroleum and made from ethylene glycol (aka antifreeze.) and shows evidence of genotoxicity and may be carcinogenic.

Artificial Food Colorings:
- Red 3, Red 40, Blue 1, and Yellows 5 and 6, and others: Chemicals that may cause cancer, hyperactivity (ADHD), allergic reactions, obesity, and are Endocrine disruptors.
Artificial Flavors:
- Chemicals to make a food/supplements taste good: May cause neurologic dysfunction, GI distress, allergic reactions, genetic defects, cancer, decrease bone marrow function and cause anemia.

Preservatives To Check For and Avoid:
Preservatives that may be giving the ingredients in your supplements a longer shelf life, but may be harming you...
- Sodium benzoate: Benzene is a byproduct of this one—a known carcinogen.
- Sulfites: These can cause severe asthma reactions in sensitive individuals. They are also a relatively common trigger for migraines.
- Nitrates or nitrites: In the body these form carcinogenic (cancer-causing) nitrosamines.
- Sodium ascorbate: GMO corn
- Ascorbyl palmitate: GMO corn

- Ascorbic acid: although this is vitamin C, it is derived from GMO corn
